Why Sponsor Latinas in Progress?

HWNT creates a safe space where Latina women can network, find purpose, gain skills, and learn, thus enabling professional women to be better able to serve their community.Research shows that Hispanics and Blacks continue to project low college enrollment rates and or completion of a degree. Our ability to provide LIP students with resources paves the way for them to have a better future that breaks cycles and barriers. Education plays a vital role in our girls’ lives.Financial constraints are a major reason why Hispanics do not finish a four-year degree. We assist by providing scholarships to two Juniors and over a dozen Senior high school girls.
